Exosomes – a new approach to skin renewal
Exosomes are an exciting area of modern skin treatment and aesthetic medicine. They act as small signal carriers between cells and have received growing attention for their possible role in the skin's natural renewal processes.
At Beauty Medical we combine exosomes with microneedling for those who want to work on skin quality, a more even skin texture and a fresher glow.
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are small biological particles released from cells that help the cells communicate with one another. They can contain various biological components, including proteins and lipids, that take part in the cells' signalling processes.
In skin treatment, exosomes are being investigated for their potential role in the skin's natural repair and renewal. The aim is to support the skin's own processes and contribute to skin that looks more even, fresher and more vital.
What can exosomes contribute to the skin?
Exosomes have attracted growing interest in skin renewal because of their potential in treatments aimed at the quality and appearance of the skin.
The treatment may be relevant if you want to work on:
- Skin texture and pores – for a smoother skin surface.
- Fine lines – as part of a treatment plan aimed at signs of ageing.
- Uneven skin tone – for skin that looks uneven or sun-affected.
- Scars and irregularities – as part of an individually tailored treatment plan.
- Glow and skin quality – for a fresher and more uniform skin surface.
Research on exosomes in aesthetic skin treatments is still developing. The results will depend, among other things, on the product used and the treatment method.
Exosomes combined with microneedling
In microneedling, small, controlled needles create micro-channels in the skin. The treatment stimulates the skin's natural repair process and is used, among other things, to improve skin texture and visible scars.
Exosomes are used as a supplement to microneedling, with the aim of supporting the skin's renewal processes. The combination is an exciting option for those who want a targeted treatment focused on skin quality.
Is the treatment right for you?
Microneedling with exosomes may be relevant if you want to improve the overall appearance of the skin and work on several skin concerns at the same time. We always assess the condition of your skin and your wishes before recommending a treatment plan.
At Beauty Medical the aim is to find a treatment that suits your skin, with realistic expectations of the result.
