Lip fillers
Natural lips and harmonious contours with hyaluronic acid.

Filler
Age limit 18 years, but we treat very few under 20.
Time in clinic 30-60 minutes Fillers usually consist of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that is produced naturally in the body and has a unique ability to bind water.
Treatment areas
Fillers can be used for a number of areas, including:
- Lip enhancement and lip contour
- Cheekbones and jawline
- Nasolabial lines (lines from nose to mouth)
- Marionette lines (from the corner of the mouth downwards)
- Tear trough (under the eyes)
- Chin and chin profiling
How does the treatment work?
The treatment usually takes 30–60 minutes, and the effect can be seen within a short time, but swelling can affect the first result. We always start with a thorough consultation where we go through your wishes, assess what suits your face best and give recommendations based on our expertise. The injection itself is done with thin needles and we offer anaesthetic in the form of a cream before the appointment.
How long does the result last?
The duration of fillers varies, but is most often between 6 and 12 months, depending on the treatment area, skin type and lifestyle. Follow-up is recommended to maintain the desired result.
Is the treatment safe?
We only use approved and safe filler products, mainly from Juvèderm, of high quality, and the treatment is performed by certified personnel with medical competence and long experience. It is normal to have slight swelling or bruising after treatment, but this usually passes after a few days.
Although we very rarely see complications with filler treatments, there are normal but rare side effects such as:
- Severe pain and tenderness in the days after treatment
- Drop in blood pressure, nausea, dizziness and flu-like symptoms
In very few cases you may experience serious but rare complications such as:
- Infection that must be treated with medication by a doctor
- Occlusion (filler blockage of a blood vessel which, untreated, can lead to necrosis or tissue death)
We are very focused on safety, and our staff are therefore well versed in how to detect and treat any occlusion.
Get in touch with us for a no-obligation consultation, we will gladly help you find the treatment that best suits you and your wishes.

Before treatment
- Tell us about any medicines (especially blood thinners), allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, herpes and previous treatments.
- Come without make-up in the area to be treated, and with freshly washed skin.
- Avoid alcohol the day before and on the day unless otherwise agreed.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory painkillers (e.g. ibuprofen/aspirin) and supplements such as fish oil/vitamin E in the days before, if your doctor allows it – ask us if you take these regularly.
- Have you had cold sores (herpes)? Tell us – lip treatment may require prevention.
After treatment
- Avoid pressing, rubbing or massaging the area unless the nurse has said so.
- Avoid exercise, sauna, tanning beds and strong heat for the first 24–48 hours.
- Avoid make-up in the area for the first 24 hours.
- Feel free to sleep with your head slightly raised the first night; use a cool (not ice-cold) compress for short periods against swelling.
- Avoid further treatments on the face (dentist, peeling, laser) for the first few weeks – ask us.
This is normal
- Slight swelling, tenderness, redness and small bruises in the first few days.
- Small bumps may be felt in the first few days and normally even out.
- The final result is assessed after approx. 2 weeks.
