Line reduction
According to the Marketing Act we are no longer allowed to mention prescription-only medicines on the website. If you have questions about wrinkle treatments, we ask you to get in touch for a consultation at the clinic.
In a medical context, this type of treatment is known for treating, for example, hyperhidrosis, teeth grinding, migraine and jaw tension, to name a few. In a cosmetic context it is best known for use in areas such as around the eyes, forehead and between the eyebrows.
When booking this type of treatment, a consultation with the responsible doctor will be carried out beforehand. The consultation may give approval for use of the medicine through a prescription that will be valid for 1 year with us as long as there are no changes in your state of health. The consultation with the doctor takes place through our patient record system, Huubro. A prescription costs NOK 395 and is a one-off fee per year.

We have set an ethical age limit of 21 years. This applies to all medical treatments.

Before and after treatment
General advice for you who are about to have, or have had, this treatment.
After a consultation you can get access to before and after photos. Download Beauty Medical from the App Store and we will send you a password.
Before treatment
- Tell us about any medicines (especially blood thinners), allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding, herpes and previous treatments.
- Come without make-up in the area to be treated, and with freshly washed skin.
- Avoid alcohol the day before and on the day unless otherwise agreed.
- If you are coming for the first time, the nurse will carry out a consultation and assess whether the treatment is suitable for you.
After treatment
- Do not rub or massage the area for the first few hours.
- Avoid lying flat and bending deeply forward for the first 4 hours.
- Avoid exercise, sauna and strong heat for 24 hours.
- Activate the muscles in the area with normal facial expressions – that is fine.
This is normal
- Small bumps/swellings at the injection sites for up to a couple of hours, possibly a slight headache.
- The effect comes gradually over approx. 3–14 days.
When to get in touch
Get in touch if you experience any of this:
- In case of severe pain, white/pale or bluish skin, visual disturbances, difficulty breathing, severe swelling that spreads, fever or pus: call the clinic on 403 11 017 immediately (outside opening hours: legevakt 116 117 (out-of-hours emergency clinic); in case of acute danger 113 (emergency number)).
- Drooping eyelid or double vision, difficulty swallowing or breathing.
- Signs of infection: increasing redness, warmth, pus or fever.
General advice – the nurse will give you personal advice tailored to your treatment.
