Dermapen - An effective skin-improving treatment

Dermapen - An effective skin-improving treatment

What is Dermapen?

Dermapen is a popular treatment that uses microneedles to improve the skin.

Dermapen can treat, among other things:

Acne/impurities

Scars

Lines and wrinkles

Pigmentation

Large pores

Stimulating collagen production

The treatment works by small needles being pricked through the top layer of the skin, so that we create a controlled trauma in the skin. The advantage of Dermapen is that we can use different serums that penetrate deep into the skin, for extra skin benefits. The treatment will start the body's natural healing process, which leads to increased collagen and elastin production.

One of the biggest advantages of Dermapen is that it can be individually tailored for each client. The treatment can be adapted to meet specific needs, whether it concerns fine lines, sun damage or scars. It is also suitable for all skin types and can be used on both face and body.

Treatment protocol

Although you may notice improvements after one treatment, a treatment course of 3-5 treatments is often recommended.

After the treatment the skin may be a little red and irritated. This is completely normal and usually goes away after a few hours. The skin may also feel a little dry or tight in the first few days. In the first days after treatment you should avoid AHA and BHA acids and retinol on the skin. After treatment it is important to use moisturiser to help with the healing process. Some may also experience mild flaking after a few days.

Dermapen provides a safe and effective treatment for those who want to improve the appearance of their skin!

Does Dermapen hurt?

Dermapen can feel a little uncomfortable, like small pricks or tingling in the skin. Pain is experienced very individually, but most people do not experience much pain during treatment.

Who cannot have Dermapen?

Pregnant/breastfeeding women

Inflammation or infection in the skin

Eczema/herpes

Use of isotretinoin within the last 6 months
