The range consists of a number of products for home use as well as a chemical peel in the clinic. The treatments are simple to carry out and give you as a client good results. The treatment is adapted to your phototype.

What is pigment, and why do we get it?

Pigmentation is something we all have naturally in the body. Our pigment consists of melanocytes, which protect us from the sun's harmful rays and protect our inner cells from damage. Sometimes these pigment cells can become overactive and produce more than normal, which can cause the pigment to collect in one place and give us pigment spots. This can happen for several reasons, such as too much sun or hormonal changes, for example during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How is pigmentation treated?

Meline is a treatment used to help prevent pigmentation. Meline is offered as a professional treatment in the clinic together with the use of home products before and after the treatments. Meline is a chemical peel that is adapted according to whether you have light or dark skin. The peel consists of a range of ingredients that aim to reduce pigment development and lighten your skin. The peel has proven effect in being able to reduce hyperpigmentation by up to 90-95% over a period of 60 to 90 days. What is unique about this range is that it consists of a number of ingredients that dampen all the different stages in the development of pigment.

Meline - Chemical peel in the clinic:

Meline is adapted to your skin type. Lighter skin types tolerate both stronger concentrations and a more aggressive treatment course than darker skin types. Darker skin types have a greater risk of developing more pigmentation when the skin develops inflammation. MeLine has taken this into account. MeLine distinguishes between Caucasian Skin (phototypes I-IV) and Ethnic Skin (phototypes IV-VI).

Meline clinic treatment may require up to 3 treatments with an interval of 4-6 weeks in between. It is also required that the client uses the right Meline products between the treatments in the clinic.

Meline - home products:

When you come for a consultation with us for Meline treatment, we will guide you on which products to use in the time between treatments. It is also recommended that you use the products at home for approx. 4 weeks before the first treatment in the clinic with us, for the best possible result. The Meline range consists of a number of different products for home use, both for those with light and dark skin tone.
