At last the long-awaited feeling of spring is arriving and Easter is up next. We are all looking forward to the Easter holiday and hopefully more sun after a long, cold winter. So the most important thing to remember to pack, whether you are heading to warmer climes or enjoying the Easter sun in the mountains, is SUNSCREEN!

To prevent signs of ageing and pigmentation and to avoid getting sunburnt, we always recommend a good sunscreen with broad-spectrum protection. And we are a little partial to factor 50, especially if you want to take really good care of your skin. The sun factor tells you something about the level of protection the cream gives against the UVB rays of the sun. The sun increases melanin production, and melanin protects us naturally against the sun's rays. This is what gives us a tan. When we overexpose the skin to sun, the skin cannot produce enough melanin and we get sunburnt. In addition, many may experience uneven pigmentation and spots.
Other products worth having in your skincare routine when the sun peeks out are a vitamin C cream, such as 10% Vitamin C from ZO, or another form of antioxidants that protect your skin against free radicals and oxidative stress. Do you have an uneven skin tone, or does this show up quickly as soon as you are out in the sun in summer? Brightalive is used to help prevent pigmentation.
Back to the most important thing, namely SPF! Our sunscreens have broad-spectrum protection against UVA, UVB, HEV light (high-energy visible light) and infrared light.
